The famous French game developer Ubisoft Entertainment, so to speak, “lost” his confidence after several years of continuous disappointment for gamers. The latest gaming creations of the publishers of this company have significantly lost in graphic capabilities, which was the reason for the decline in interest from users. However, in 2015 at the annual gaming exhibition Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the guys from Ubisoft came off in earnest and presented really interesting and noteworthy updates and new projects. Read under the cut that prepared for Ubisoft players this year.
South Park: The Fractured but Whole
The Ubisoft conference as part of the E3 2015 event began at 1:00 Moscow time. The company began its presentation with several unexpected announcements, and the first of them was the continuation of the popular role-playing game based on the equally popular American animated series South Park (South Park). Ubisoft officials have officially announced ongoing booming work on South Park: The Fractured but Whole. It is noteworthy, but the name of the novelty is translated simultaneously as “Broken, but whole”, as well as “Broken point”. This is a classic pun, so you can find the name of the project a familiar humor from the creators of the South Park.
As the description goes, in a new game based on South Park, players will again take on the role of the New Kid, who needs to join the four main characters, and then go on an exciting journey. In general, in the new The Fracture but Whole you will find all the same features of games based on the South Park universe - this is an incredible amount of toilet humor, as well as numerous very funny situations and other traditional nonsense, familiar only to true fans of South Park. Of course, according to the announcement of the novelty, the hall exploded with a standing ovation - South Park: The Fractured but Whole really turned out to be very funny.
It is worth noting that Ubisoft San Francisco, and not Obsidian Entertainment, as before, is responsible for developing a new part of the game based on South Park this time. Let's hope that the Ubisoft developers will cope with their new serious task and will not bring this project to a failed state. The official South Park: The Fractured but Whole trailer shown at E3 2015 can be viewed below. Also write in the comments, how do you like the new head of the South Park - fire or not fire?
The second really unexpected new project from Ubisoft was a rather gloomy action, the main scene of which takes place during the Middle Ages. The novelty was called “For Honor”, which is translated into Russian as “For Honor”. The main emphasis in For Honor is on cooperative battles and extremely cold weapons - powerful and heavy swords. Fierce battles will be fought between three factions: you can play for the Vikings, knights or samurai. Each faction has its own unique set of knives and techniques for fighting.
A new combat game was announced by creative director Jason Vandenberg. He showed live For Honor gameplay and talked about how you can play in this game in multiplayer mode - you can fight against your friends with two teams per team of four people each. Further on the screen were shown real-time actions, or rather a fierce battle of the army against the army. This demonstration showed very well that everything was worked out in detail in For Honor: the main characters of the three available factions look really “heavy”, you will have to plan every hit and think through tactics for attack, otherwise you will be cut off your head.
Even more impressive was the moment when it became known that the For Honor demonstration was carried out on SONY's PlayStation 4 game console, and not on a personal computer with powerful technical specifications. For Honor is a very interesting new product from Ubisoft, which fans of games such as Lords of the Fallen or Dark Souls II will definitely like. The game has well-built fights between the players, and it is easier and better to see with your own eyes than to describe. For Honor will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2016.
The Crew: Wild Run
Traditionally, the guys from Ubisoft update their racing simulators with interesting additions. So, the popular racing game The Crew will receive an addition called Wild Run. Wild Run will add the so-called Summit to The Crew - an unofficial championship that brings together thousands of racers and car mechanics from around the world and is held on the most famous US tracks. But the most unexpected was that you can show your dexterity in racing not only on sports cars, but also on motorcycles, as well as even monster trucks. Ubisoft promises - "The Crew is guaranteed new challenges."
The Wild Run expansion pack for The Crew will be released on November 17, 2015.
Trials Fusion: Awesome Level Max
Ubisoft will also release a slightly crazy addition in July for the Trials Fusion game. Awesome Level Max allows you to become a Rambo cat who owns a sword, a Golden Desert Eagle, and also the most important frenzy of the addition - a fire-breathing tattooed unicorn, which is used for riding.
The Awesome Level Max expansion pack for the Trials Fusion platform race will be released in July.
Tom Clancy's The Division
The new part of The Division from the Tom Clancy's series of games was already shown to us during the last Microsoft conference, details of which we can read on our website. But will a little new gameplay never hurt? Recall that Tom Clancy's The Division is the next generation of the MMO genre. The main plot of this game is the following situation: a devastating pandemic cleared the entire city of New York skyscrapers, now days are nothing without food and water, and everything has turned into chaos. In the meantime, the department of trained agents, acting independently of the team, is fighting to prevent the downfall of society, but in the end it itself becomes embroiled in an epic conspiracy.
Tom Clancy's The Divison will be released on all previously announced platforms on March 8, 2016.
Anno 2205 is an economic simulation strategy. The game takes place in the distant future, when the human race has already begun to fully develop the infinite cosmic space. By the way, therefore, the most important innovation in Anno 2205 is the arrangement not only on Earth, but also colonization on the Moon - a satellite of our planet. But everything is phased - the player will first have to build a city on Earth, develop the economy, study various technologies and then launch the shuttles to explore the Moon and equip the colony there. In the Anno 2205 trailer, for example, we were shown a developed urban system on Earth, as well as an amazing colony on the Moon the size of half this planet.
The base on the moon, open space, the stunning beauty of our universe - all this will be available in the new city building simulator Anno 2205, which now goes into space. The novelty will appear for the PC on November 3 this year. Also, a large-scale beta test of the game will be launched soon. Developers will report about it later.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege
Ubisoft guys didn’t forget to tell Tom Clancy's Rainbox Six: Siege. The company introduced at E3 2015 a very cool new game trailer, as well as its new gameplay. If you suddenly do not know what kind of toy this is, then let us know - Tom Clancy's Rainbox Six: Siege is a sensational first-person shooter developed by the famous Ubisoft Montreal studio for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC game consoles. Simply put, in short, the game offers users to master the art of destruction. Rainbox Six: Siege is a high lethality, tactics, team game and explosive plot. Also, the new multiplayer gameplay of Tom Clancy's sets a new bar for intense shootouts and strategies.
The new trailer for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege turned out to be quite pathos. One of the main roles in the game was played by actress Angela Basset. You can see that the graphics in the new product are so high that the actress seems almost real. However, it is understandable - the sound and picture are traditionally high for Ubisoft.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege beta test begins September 24, 2015.
TrackMania is a crazy arcade racing game that started well and ultimately gained a lot of popularity. As part of the annual E3 2015 exhibition, Ubisoft has announced TrackMania Turbo. In short, the TrackMania Turbo is crazy tracks, crazy speed and crazy fun. What else is there to add?
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
Of course, the presentation of Ubisoft at the E3 2015 event could not do without a demonstration of a new part from the Assassin's Creed - Syndicate popular franchise. Representatives of the French game publisher showed the cinematic trailer Assasin's Creed: Syndicate. Recall that in Syndicate you will plunge into the world of the 18th century. The game takes place in the oldest city - London, the capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The main plot of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate - the industrial revolution brings with it the incredible growth of the technology industry, turning the lives of millions of people, which were previously considered impossible, into something amazing. However, not everyone has the opportunity to take advantage of the industrial revolution. Moreover, this new world is no longer controlled by kings, emperors, politicians or religion. Now London is ruled by a new common denominator - money. In Syndicate you are waiting for adventure, intrigue and fierce struggle that will change the fate of the world.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands
The latest Ubisoft announcement at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 gaming show was Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, the main surprise of the event. Judging by the first trailer shown during the conference last night, the new game from the Tom Clancy's franchise is something of the scale of Grand Theft Auto V. The player is offered a huge detailed open world.
The creators of Ghost Recon: Wildlands claim that the new big open world in the game is more than what you can imagine. The developers said that each time a new game will open for you from a new angle and, moreover, the player will not meet repetitions. By the way, the action takes place in South America, where the Ghost squad has to deal with drug lords. The Santa Blanca Cartel has turned an independent state into a hangout of fear and injustice, so the main mission is to create chaos, weaken the enemy and destroy criminal alliances.
A new part of a series of shooters Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands offers to stop all crimes and return the law to its place alone or in cooperative mode.
