Hello everyone. Just yesterday I happened to download such a beautiful and interesting game from Gameloft as Wild Blood. Seeing that there is not a single review on our favorite Thrashbox, I decided to write my own. This is my first review of the game on android, so do not judge strictly.
You can view the review itself under the cut.
The review contains many pictures, it is not recommended for viewing with poor Internet
So, let's start.
The game is made in the Action-Rpg genre, it has a rather interesting plot, beautiful graphics, an unobtrusive donat. It all starts with the fact that the wife of King Arthur cheated on him with Lancelot, he got angry, decided to take revenge, called the witch, and she, in turn, called the demons that started to smash and smash everything. Lancelot came to the kingdom, saw the defeat and went to find out everything. As you might have guessed, we will play for him. Since I downloaded the game only yesterday and didn’t have time to go through it, I can’t tell you the whole story, but I strongly advise you to watch story clips that have Russian subtitles.
The game is built on one of the best engines to date, the Unreal engine, so immediately after launching and the Gameloft screen saver, we see the following picture
I don’t know about you, but for me it immediately began to create a good impression.
Next, we see a simple but beautiful menu where we can choose a game mode, as well as go to the game store and purchase potions, weapons, etc.
I think you noticed that the game has a network mode. Let me explain: in this game, multiplayer supports playing the game on the Internet for up to 8 players in various modes, which is very interesting.
Single player game
As I wrote above, the game is built on the Unreal engine, so I want to present you a screen of the first location.
Right after a small video, character control passes into our hands. There is a joystick in the lower left corner, the health and mana scale in the upper one, the buttons for action and strikes at the bottom right, and the weapon change button at the top.
As soon as we are trained in movement, “dear hellish creatures” immediately come to us, we will easily hack them and move on.
The game has an interesting scheme for opening chests and doors; there are two types of chests:
1 with puzzle 2 chest without lock
Below you can see an example of such a puzzle and a door.
Somewhat earlier, I wrote that there are strike buttons on the right, I did not seal, in addition to the usual attack in the game, you can assign two buttons to elemental hits (hits by elements of elements: fire, ice, lightning). Below you can see examples of such attacks.
Going further, we will see the girl in the cage. The cell must be broken and the girl will reward us with a kiss)
Alas, the matter is limited only to a kiss, so our hero continues his journey. After passing some more distance and killing several demons, we go to the square where the first executioner is waiting for us. He has quite a lot of health and beats hard, so you need to dodge on time from his blows.
Having defeated the executioner, we set off further. In front of us are waiting for the next monsters that are easy to defeat.
At the end of the first level, a dragon attacks us, later it turns out that this dragon is the same witch Arthur turned to. The fight with her is not easy and at the end she presses our hero to the ground, but the faithful Sir Gwain saves him. After a short dialogue, he gives us a bow and we go to the next level.
A few words saving the game and pumping equipment.
The game provides the ability to save and change equipment during the level. To do this, we need to go to one of the blue fountains, which are located throughout the level. I would also like to note the possibility of improving the equipment of the character, which with each new level changes its appearance.
Summing up, I want to say that in general, the game at Gameloft was very successful.
The description is fully consistent with what I saw on the screen of my tablet. Despite the monotonous gameplay (walking from boss to boss through crowds of monotonous light monsters), it is very interesting because there is some kind of dynamics in the form of evasions and new movements for bosses. Personally, I would give the game the following ratings
Graphics: 10/10 Gameplay: 9/10 Scene: 10/10 Well, for dessert, a few more screenshots
